How TLS Fingerprinting Works

1

TLS ClientHello

When your browser connects, it sends a TLS ClientHello with specific ciphers, extensions, and curves. This creates a unique JA3/JA4 hash.

2

HTTP/2 SETTINGS

Each browser sends different HTTP/2 SETTINGS values (window size, max streams, etc.). This creates the Akamai H2 fingerprint.

3

Bot Detection

Services like Cloudflare and Akamai compare these fingerprints against known browser profiles. Mismatches → blocked as bot.
